My journey to medical school was a tough and arduous one but I am very happy with the result. I am originally from Haiti. My journey took me from a nursing career to medicine. I transferred to AISM from another medical school. Through hard work and perseverance, I made it through. What I received through my studies at AISM is an opportunity for academic growth which is also helping me in my professional and personal growth. I look forward to what the future holds and look forward to succeeding and making my school proud.

I was born raised and educated in the United States yet all of my family originates from Guyana. I would have never expected that my families country of origin would graduate me from medical school. I started out in nursing then as a nurse practitioner and thanks to AISM I am now an MD.
