Pre-Health (Pre-Medical) Sciences

Pre-Med Program

The AISM premedical program is designed to provide a strong foundation in the natural sciences and is an absolutely necessary prerequisite for admission to medical school and other health-related disciplines.

Requirements

Students presenting with the appropriate senior higher school or secondary school will be placed into the appropriate semester, as will students offering other advanced credentials.

Evaluation for placement

A careful review and assessment are made of each student and their qualifications to ensure they are placed at the most appropriate point in the course. In some instances, students may be required to take specific courses before entering the program.

International students

If English is not your first language the candidate will be required to achieve a score of at least 600 on the paper-based or 250 on the computer-based version of the Test of English as Foreign Language (TEFL). Undergraduate level credits that include science foundation courses or a minimum of 30 undergraduate level credits that include a few natural science foundations courses. Applicants must have a high school diploma with a high academic score.
